where talking about what's for dinner while you're at lunch is totally acceptable

Watch me eat crow.

For a long time, I just didn’t get blogs. I think my personal stance fell somewhere around, “Why does every person in the world think they are interesting enough to have their own blog?” But, here I am. Starting a blog. Eating a healthy helping of crow.

But I guess that’s appropriate since this blog is about food. So whether it’s a restaurant experience, a recent episode of Top Chef, or a recipe worth sharing, I want to talk about it. And I hope you’ll talk back.

  1. I want to hear all about it!

  2. Aww, Charlie, thanks for supporting me! Marshall has been secretly supporting this idea for a while, so I’m sure he’ll be happy to have another person to share the burden.

Christopher Columbus of restaurants? And you think you’re not creative …

  3. I look forward to reading about your adventures.
Hey, I’ll even share a recipe..It’s one of our favorites and is so easy!

  4. I like this idea. You have introduced me to ALL of my favorite dining establishments in Nashville. This blog is the next right thing for you to do, my dear. Now tell us something good!

  5. Is Doug serious? I saw the word Velveeta in his link….
    🙂

  6. I hope Marche will make an appearance in the best of Nashville, and feel free to incorporate some local Rhody favorites, you’ve been to most of them. This is a fantastic idea and I can’t wait to read more!

  7. OK, I’ll go along with this, as long as it doesn’t keep you from cooking and sharing the food with me. Like your outrageously good lasagna, red velvet cupcakes, peanut butter pie, or that chocolate brownie thingy that nearly put me in a coma.
